Because last Friday, I have found myself performing with a banjo guitar onstage alongside a well known Romanian band, I was thinking that this might be a good opportunity to find out what other instruments can you guys play. Let's share recordings if you guys have some Any instrument is allowed I know for certain that we have a very talented piano player here - verciazghra or Vince

This is awesome Cosmin I'm sorry that I miss to see your banjo live performing I enjoyed this video and I like this song very much. I wonder what instrument you will choose next time?
I don't have any recordings at this time to share and because it's not funny anymore for me to play at piano (it's not something special for me), when I will go to the rehearsal room I will record something at drums. It will be very fun because I'm a little aggressive when I am hitting drums

Thank you Monica - well, I spoke to Adrian (the singer) and we will certainly work together some more onstage, guitars, vocals, banjo and maybe other instruments as well Let us see your drumming - it would certainly be a show!

Thanks Baha, I am not proficient with the banjo guitar either, but I managed to pull it off nicely for this song

Awesome video Cosmin!
Looks like you had a lot of fun playing that banjo. Is that a 6 string banjo with frets that resembles a regular guitar? I'm not a banjo expert by no means How is banjo tuned?
Once a band we were traveling with in a bus to gigs played banjo whole night in such a way that basically it emulates the vocal lines to famous songs. I can tell you, as much as it is fun at the beginning - it can start to get on your nerves in this arrangement. Especially if you are trying to sleep
Besides bass as a primary instrument, I can on the basic level play the guitar and get around the piano. From more "exotic" instruments, I did try to learn how to play the harmonica and it was very fun. I managed to play the "Love me do" song intro by the Beatles

Hehe - it's actually a banjo guitar It's tuned like a regular guitar, but has 6 strings instead of 4, the body and sound properties of a banjo and an active pickup. Pretty darn amazing instrument At first I was very scared to say yes to the challenge as I was going away from home and had nothing but this instrument, my laptop and limited access to the internet. But when I realized it's just like playing the guitar, it took me about 1 hour and a half to sort out what I would play and then rehearsing it each evening a few times with the recording so that I may be able to perform relaxed. I also rehearsed on a barstool and on a normal stool so that I would be used to both postures - I had no clue on what I would be seated onstage.
About the harmonica... I CAN PLAY THE EXACT SAME THING AS YOU or at least I could back in 2003 when I received mine as a gift
As many of you guys already know, I am also a vocalist and aside Days of Confusion, I enjoy playing acoustic re-orchestrated cover versions of famous songs. I will probably start recording them and making little videos that I will upload on my Youtube channel. So far, I decided to show you a little sample No fancy video editing, as I was simply curious to see how it sounds..

It looks like your where having a lot of fun with the banjo, I guess thats why we are musicians, to have fun right. This cover sounds pretty dam good sounds, and I'd love to watch your videos of acoustic versions, that's one of the things I like to do also, I'm not a good singer like you, but I have fun making covers of my favourite songs. I'm learning to play the drums but I have to change the acoustic set to an electronic so I can practice more.

I've got a 5 string banjo and every now and then attempt to learn how to play it but it's tricky, the rolls are so different to how I play fingerstyle and the metal fingerpicks take some getting used to.
I'm guessing the hardest part playing the Guitjo is approaching it like a banjo rather than a guitar

I don't see myself as a good singer...yet I hear things in my head that need better technique to sound as I want them, so practice, practice, practice Do you have any new vids with yourself singing, mate?

I never actually tried playing on a traditional banjo, so the guitjo is a great choice for me For it's always a matter of how it sounds - I mean, if the tone is a banjo one, I will automatically play banjo oriented stuff with it and not treat it as a guitar.

Great song BTW! I'm afraid Your banjo is a bit lost in the mix...but at least You make it up with the huge smile

Thanks Darius, well yeah, not the best sound capture, eh? I was smiling because it really felt good - the people were really there with us! This song is a hit in here, it already has about 10 years since it was released and it's all over the radios and TV.

Very nice stuff! I had the video playing in the background as I surfed the web. If I ever travel to Romania, I'm coming to your show!
I've played the clarinet for as long as I've played the guitar, and I love it. However, the guitar is a much more versatile instrument in my opinion.
