Unlikely.
I'd say maybe if it was a 60 years or older guitar but not a relatively modern Ibanez.

I have seen this kind of damage before. But it didn't come from an AC. It came from falling down stairs drunk while trying to play guitar.

Thats what I thought at first as these necks tend to crack from nut screws (specially the older ones). But when looked close seems it didn't crack mainly from there, only took the surface wood.
Unsure about korean necks but my guess was the glued part came off and took some surface wood.
Temperature and humidity is known to warp the guitar neck over time, therefore they highly recommend a soft/hard case or at least a temperature controlled environment if on a stand. Air conditioning or humidity controllers are actually recommended for the room, but they strongly warn against heat or cold air being pumped over the guitar itself. Some guitar guy told me that with the purchase of my first guitar.
I've followed instructions but never actually seen the results of it myself - but wow, are you sure temperature/humidity did all that? Perhaps warped the neck, strings too tight on it as well and therefore put pressure on the neck till it fractured and snap! However, the neck has nut locks in place as well, meaning it wouldn't of been pressured on the strings...?
I therefore assume the pet dog was jamming on it while the owner was out, broke it and therefore just put it back and played innocent!
Maybe it was previously glued as you mentioned - some glues are known to loosen with heat/pressure.

hehe he says he has a kitten but its very unlikely the cat played broke and placed it back on the stand 
I didn't ask the string gaunge but to be honest I've never seen a crack like that, this is the typical ibanez neck crack notice this is reverse
