Anyone try or know anything at all about the EMG 57-8 or the EMG 57?
From I"ve read it's an ALNICO magnet pickup which is good news and has a very organic sound. I'm thinking of trying it on my Dean 8 string as I just don't like the stock 808 EMG no matter what adjustment I try on them.

Full Version: Emg 57-8?
Nobody with any experience on the EMG 57 pickup?
Watching the vid again, I just noticed that this guy is following the "LAWS OF METAL" that we talked about in chat.
1.)Wear any color you like, as long as it's a shade of BLACK.
2.)Short sleeves are fine, over long sleeve tshirts.
3.)Shorts are fine, as long as they are combat fatigue shorts, but long combat fatigues are better, in black of course, you may push your luck with "camo" now and then.
4.)Your guitar should look angry or odd.
5.)You must not, smile, if you can at all help it.
