Is it possible to give a zero grade?

Yet again you force me to sit through another atrocious video... what kind of friend are you?

Ok, just kidding wink.gif

This is chunky as hell. It's tighter than a nun's.... errr...... purse.

The single note lines on the intro riff sound a bit 'sticky', like some of the notes aren't coming through as well as others. It could be due to the noise gate on your preset, due to the high distortion. With a harsh noise gate threshold, certain notes might sound sticky, or weaker if they're not played really hard. That's the only downside with using extremely distorted tones. You either have to work around the noise gate or put up with loads of hiss.

The pause at 0:38 before you shift position is a bit too obvious. Try to rest on that power chord a little longer and then allow some of the slide to be audible as you move up to the single note line. This helps to join up these two separate pieces.

Other than that, there's nothing to point out, man - a good job cool.gif

Hi WeePee!

This is a very good take! I just feel that you need to make the single note riffs more consistent/smoother (as Ben marked) and that it would be good to play this type of riffing with more aggression, more intensity with your right hand, to mark accents and give the overall lesson more dynamics.

Other than that, your playing is very tight on this one.

Keep on rocking.

You rock man! smile.gif Great job on this one. Basicly....you just go through all the trak like machine but there is something unpleasant happening betwen some of the notes. It might be partialy cause by the type of tone you choose for this lesson. It's a bit too harsh like it would have sort of too much treble in the "typical ts treble boost in front of the amp". Some notes keep the feeling that there is the attack in there but it lacks a bit of body. It slightly hard to explain perfectly what I mean but I hope You dig it smile.gif
