Hey Muris smile.gif
I was just watching your sweping lesson and saw it was saying this is just some basic stuff,Made me feel like i really stink sad.gif laugh.gif .Anyway everytime i feel like i understand the technique something comes along that throughs everything i though off track. For me 2 string sweeps dont make sense,3 or more strings sweeping i understand how it makes the sweeping sound. Is 2 string sweeps the most hard?

I know this isnt a tech im going to pick up over night but man i've been playing so long and cant believe i dont have it down sad.gif .I think maybe the reason is that im just not in perfect sync with both hands. What i really want to know is what can i do to get both of my hands better prepared for sweeping?I want to improve my left and right hand more to when i go at learning sweeping its not as much of a pain.Any other lessons of your's you recommend to build that up?

Thanks,Shredmandan biggrin.gif

Hi Dan. smile.gif

I perfectly DO understand your problem.
Most of the players play sweeping a bit "OF" timing, which I said in the lesson.
Usually they go like from bottom to top note and down in current time value(second or two),
without knowing are those 16th,16th triplets,32th etc.
That's why I putted all those "basic" stuff inside, and 2 strings sweeps are bottom line. smile.gif
Try it slow, must understand and FELL notes that you're playing, not just doing sweeping up and down.
I'm preparing another sweeping lesson(incl. tapping as well, yep)
but in a mean while check out Pavel's sweep lesson,
I'm sure you might find many useful things there.

Let me know if you need anything else tho! smile.gif

Thanks Muris
Yes i think i will just work on improving my other' skills right now and then get back on the sweeping.I get practicing sweep slow but thats also a confusing part cause it doesnt sound like sweep unless its played fast to me.Thanks for the advice though and i will let you know how it goes. smile.gif

Man
I feel like i can sweep, like i am some.I think my problems are coming back up after i sweep down and just keeping my hands both in exact sync.I will get it though and i'll post my progress for you smile.gif

That's the spirit,yeahhhh!!! biggrin.gif

Just take it slow and make GOOD sync between hands,
speeding up is the easiest part here, trust me. wink.gif

Just found one reason why my sweeping was messing up.When i was going back up my thumb is hitting the string above the one im picking,so i just gotta straighten it up and im seeing improvments.I wish i had a way to record though so i could let you here
