If you usually don't have cold hands, and it happens when you take a guitar, consider if you hold the guitar in the way that is blocking your blood circulation
That´s not the case either
It goes for both hands at the same time... You don´t block with your right hand like it might be possible with left hand while having the guitar to low or something. when I was younger I had cold hands all the time. Now I never have cold hands except for sometimes when I play guitar.. And when outside in the winter.
It´s very irregular. Doesn´t matter if I sit, stand, acoustic, electric, play fast or just chords.
Sometimes it´s there.. some times not.. Not that big of a problem right now though because it´s getting less freqvent and I´m really warming up properly. I just like to know what it is and how to fix it if possible
Hmm I have this problem on time to time..My hands get cold when I get nervous about a show or something I'm about to play..Also sometimes when practising in studio..Try to keep your hands warm all the time (when going to a gig wear gloves if its cold etc)..I found out that this is all in my head so I try to relax myself and get that blood circulating again
...Its very unpleasant to play with cold hands
And I don't think there is ultimate solution to it..
That could be one thing yes..
When I was younger and played with the ensemble at shows I was very nervous. Probably happend a lot more often then.. specially with chilly air...
Doesn´t explain why I get it at home, no one is listening and I´m just playing some chords though...
Or am I my worst audience? =)
Probably all in my head when I think more about it... Like one time when I took bloodsample from my arm when I was very young and was afraid and then the blood stopped so they couldn´t take bloodsample from the arm.. Had to go to another hospital which was closer to the lab and take another bloodsampletest which got less blood and therefor a trip was needed.
Now´s the tricky part... I do not feel nervous all the times I get it... Just chillin at home having fun with the guitar for instance...
Maby frustration over not being able to play as I like could be a part too...
