Here's a lick over a classic Jazz progression: the II V I (C-7, F7, BbM7)

Scales and Theory

We are playing over the Cm7 the EbM7 arpeggio which is giving us the F bebop dominant scale (we add an E as a passing tone) and over the BbM7 I choose
to suggest the lydian mode by playing an FM7 arpeggio.
