NoSkill17th October 2009This is a great idea, Lian! I'm looking forward to watching the series! I think it so important to have lessons that one can watch and learn to play in a reasonable amount of time, that are musical and instructional. You have a real knack for doing just that. Good on ya, brother!
Stephane Lucarelli17th October 2009Excellent concept Lian - a great lesson series in perspective !

Lian Gerbino17th October 2009thanks everybody!
Christophe18th October 2009Yep, I've one question, could you do the guitar pro tabs of this lesson ? (cause there's a GPtab but it's about the backing track :'))
Because I can't fix the rhythm about the part 2 where you do many powerchords in a row, does the rhythm change here ? Because I tried at 120BPM but I didn't find when play the fifths :s
Thanks a lot
Christophe18th October 2009And I was asking myself.. are the backtracks in the good lesson ? Because they aren't at 120 BPM and there're not in the same style O_o
Maybe I'm wrong..
Marcus Siepen20th October 2009Great lesson Lian, some great basic things here for beginners to start with.

When is Metalhead's Journey #2 coming?
also, what's the deal with the backing track for this lesson?
thefireball9th July 2010Love this one! Already learned it! Now i'm going to practice it. The biggest thing is timing. so i'll try to get that, then enter in the REC. I want to get at least a 9, but I'll be aiming for a 10 - especially since this isn't a complicated piece. Riffing is my strong point. Solos are my weakness, but I still love them nevertheless!

A Metalhead´s Journey is a new series focused on easier material.
If you are new to music and the guitar and you want to play Metal more than anything, I will help you to understand:
These guitar lessons are composed with the absolute beginner in mind.
If you´re new to the guitar, I strongly suggest you to begin at lesson one, spending at least one week learning the whole lesson.
If you already have some guitar playing experience, you may want to review a few lessons to determine where you should start.
So, let the journey begin...
