Trip around the world continues and pauses in Romania!
Ciocarlia (The Skylark) is a well-known Romanian tune, composed in the 19th century by the Anghelu Dinicu (pan flute player). The song was, for the first time, played at the opening of the Eiffel Tower (1889) with great success. There are several versions of this beautiful composition, and best known as performed by his grandson Grigora Dinicu (violin), and Gheorghe Zamfir (pan flute).
