Welcome to another Beginner's Corner lesson. Today we're continuing with more slash chords. We learned last time how to use them in open chord positions, but today we're going to be taking some of those shapes and moving them all up and down the neck to create a very soothing sound. You'll see that this is great for ballads!
Tonality and Chord Progression:
This tune is in the key of G Major and the chord progression is as follows:

For this lesson I used a Gibson Les Paul Studio with P90 pickups on the middle pickup setting. I used an emulated Fender Bassman amp in POD Farm and added delay, compression, and reverb in Garageband.
