It's time to play the Blues!
In this lesson we will work both on accompaniment and solos.
This is a classic 12 Bar Blues in E :
| E7 | A7 | E7 | E7 | A7 | A7 | E7 | E7 | B7 | A7 | E7 | B7 |
The solo is built around the E Major & minor/blues pentatonic scales. So we're gonna learn some licks and how to mix major and minor blues patterns, to get a richer Blues phrasing.
Nothing difficult in the lesson, just pay attention to your bends, vibrato and the phrasing elements.
If you decide to improvise (and you should !!) over the backing, try to leave some room between your phrases, take your time and don't be affraid of the "silence"...!
