  • Hello GMC and welcome to my Chopin lesson.

Well, Frideric Chopin - Polish Pride and one of the greatest composer ever. I love his music, incredible sensitivity and virtuosity. Chopin's music is still fresh. I transribed a small fragment from his Waltz c#minor which contains fantastic arpeggios. Those arpeggios are great exercise for developing sweep picking technique. Note that the tempo is not constant, which is an additional difficulty.

This is the preset I used for the POD XT live for solo part

    Amp: 1967 Class A-30 Top Boost Drive 7 - Bass 4 - Middle 7 - Treble 3 - Presence 1

    Cab: 2x12 1967 Class A-30

    Rev: DAW reverb

    Stomp: Vetta Comp

The lesson is available in the guitar pro 5 file, backing tracks included.

    Enjoy!

    Piotr
