Hi GMC'ers! This lesson is the second in a series dealing with the chord melody technique. In this one we going to learn all the chord inversions of the G minor 7th chord. Once done, we gonna add one note on the highest string of each voicing and play the second mode of the F Major scale, the G dorian scale/mode : G A Bb C D E F.
The lesson covers Drop 2 voicings on the four middle and four high strings and Drop 3 voicings starting on the low E and A string.
I also recommend to transpose all these voicings in all 12 keys. Of course it's a lot of work, but you'll for sure improve your fretboard knowledge/visualisation!
