Hi GMC'ers! This is part 1 for my two hand tapping Etude lessons.
In every bar we’ll find hammering and tapping: the first two notes are hammered on with right hand, and with your left hand you’ll notice that in every new bar you start playing a fifth interval with your left hand fingers. Second two notes are going to be tapped with your right hand’s index and middle fingers, you’ll notice now that you’re also playing a fifth interval, this time with your right hand’s fingers. First interval is played on A and D strings and second interval is played on D and G strings.
Well, now it s time to talk about the remaining three notes of the first bar! Confused?? Don't worry, all of the bars are going to be played like the first one, that's the easy part. The next note is a left hand hammered one on B string and the last two ones are right hand tapped notes, here we have again the same fifth interval we found on notes 3 and 4 of the bar.
Techniques:
* Tapping
* Hammer-ons
Key:
G
Meter:
* 7/16
* I suggest to count 4+ 3
If you have any questions:
