The chord progression is a simple 1/4/5 chord progression in the key of A major (A/D/E)

This lesson is not just about cool licks however, in the spoken portion I explain how and analyze the first riff in this video, explaining the theory behind figuring out what type of chord it ideally works over. Also in the spoken portion, i explain how i commit these licks to memory and my method of transposing them on the fly for use in improvisation in other keys.
