  • The “Country Style Hybrid Picking Lesson” is a short etude designed to develop right hand technique. This picking style is indicative of country music and “chicken picking” in particular. This hybrid style adds the second, third and fourth fingers to a standard flat picking technique and gives the player a unique control over picking dynamics and tone. Please note that it is very important to pay close attention to the specific down and upstrokes in the lesson.
