Hi GMC-ers! This is a very well-known pop-rock song for everybody to know and now we can learn it's solo in this lesson.
The most difficult part is in the beginning where we have to pay attention to rhythm of the three notes. First let's play it slowly, it's important to understand it's rhythm and then we can play it faster and faster.
In the following part we also need to use our whammy bar on the last three notes. Here is a typical bluesy pattern which is a bit similar to Ritchie Blackmore's style. He used the blues scale in a similar way. The starting theme returns, but at the end it changes, using some bended notes.
Techniques:
* Bends
* Slides
* Whammy Bar
* Hammer-ons
* Pull-offs
Scales:
* B Minor
* B Pentatonic
