Hi GMC'ers! In this lesson we will work on your metal riffing techniques. This lesson is part 2, of the series evolving metal riffs.
You will find variations of metal riffs, and ways to make them more interesting as the song progresses. This will help you create your own riffs and arrangements for a full song.
For this particular lesson I used standard melodic metal patterns you can find in many metal songs in all genres. This set of riffs reminded me mostly of American metal band testament so I went in that direction. Also it might help listening to a particular guitar player you like.
