Hello friend "Connor". My influence comes from the 80's where I learned to play and comes to guitarists like Gary Moore, Eddie Van Halen, Michael Schenker, Robben Ford, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Steve Lukather, ... In modern guitarists I've heard very little. Never heard of Dave Martone music, but I think that you're right there is similarity, I just saw a video of Martone and looks like my playing but only in this exercise. I promise you will hear to Dave, you have my curiosity aroused by another guitarist who uses Parker and has that great technique. Thank you! - ratt7th May 2013

In this lesson I'm showing an example of my improvising technique in a fragment of an instrumental song.

Modern Hard Rock
Tonality & Chords:
E Major tonality
E7sus4, E5, A5, B5, D5, Bb, G Chords
E Pentatonic minor scale
Techniques:
I'm using Slap, Legato (hammering & pull-offs), tapping, slides, whammy bar, pick and fingers (hybrid picking) techniques.
Sound:
I used Engl Amp with Overdrive and stereo delay. The guitar is a Parker Fly Deluxe.
Tuning:
Standard: E,A,D,G,B,E
Tempo:
120 BPM (Slow parts 60bpm)
