Hi GMC!
Today I present a composition in the style of Malagueña. This style derives from fandango, and is the special way to interpretating this “toque” by people of Málaga. They lowered the tempo and, talking about guitar, concentrated in tonality of E phrygian. It's a free style, played ad libitum. (I've written the score with different time signatures only for a better guide).
Some passages are played with a different combinations of arpeggios, so learning this piece will increase specially your right technique. In a first instance, I recommend to play all notes strong, concentrating on movements. When you achieve some control, incorporate dynamics, rubatos and other interpretive ideas, that is always the way to show the beautiful of music.
Well, let's travel to sun and palm trees of province of Málaga!
