Hi GMC!
Today we gonna play some funk rhythm guitar with a swing feel (or hip-hop feel).
This swing feel is accomplished by delaying the second and fourth 16th of each beat : so your upstrokes should be slightly delayed. Of course the amount of swing can vary from one groove to another.
Start by working slowly with a metronome, scratching all the 16ths notes with your right-hand.
Also try to implement various "degrees" of swing feel.
Have fun & funky practice !
Steph
