Hi GMC-ers!
Welcome to my "Inspired by Gilbert" series. This time we will learn the famous Paul Gilbert's legato technique.
This is one of the most used licks by Gilbert. These sequences are played in A minor up on the neck in every mode. Learning this lesson will greatly improve your stamina, your pinky, and is a prerequisite to Mr Gilbert's insane string skipping techniques.
Techniques used in this lesson:
-Staccato
-Legato
-Hammer-ons
-Pull offs
This lesson is in D tuning: D, G, C, F, A, D.
Have fun!
-Zsolt
