Kristian Hyvarinen9th September 2010This is an extremely awesome song and a super great lesson!
I would've hoped more expression (feeling), but on the other hand, playing live and playing a lesson on a camera aren't the same.

Jerry Arcidiacono11th September 2010Great! This is one of the first solos I teach to my students!
Zsolt Galambos11th September 2010I've been told the same a lots of times. Things like:"You play with a soul on gigs, how come a lot of your lessons here doesn't have the feeling?" That's because these are made as lessons, and I tend to play everything as on the record, to execute all the bends and all with accuracy. But this little remark bothers me, so I'll try to incorporate more feelings into my lessons in the future ![]()
Denes Nagy17th September 2010Great!! ![]()
Ariel2nd December 2011Great solo. What about the last G note that sounds 1 octave higher? Is that a harmonic?
Ivan Milenkovic3rd December 2011Yes, Ariel, Zsolt player harmonic, but I'm not sure if it harmonic in the original version, I think it's a regular note player an octave higher (3rd fret high E string)

Hey GMC-ers! I think I don't have to introduce this new cover lesson. Knockin'on Heaven's Door is a well known ballad written by Bob Dylan. "G n R" (Guns N Roses) used to play this song and even recorded it on their own album. Slash really shows how you can do a cool solo without shredding here.
