Hi GMC:ers!
With this lesson I'll show you a solo, playing over the "Rhythm Changes" chord progression. To understand the harmony and learn more about this topic, please read and listen the section #1, as usual.
The bpm here is 180 and we play swing eighth notes, most of the time. There are some passages that you can find more difficult, with eighth triplets and some unusual fingerings.
It would be cool to see a take of this lesson in the REC. I hope some of you will learn this lesson properly, if you like it.
The main gear I used to record this lesson is:
- Washburn WI67Pro
- Ezdrummer
- A free VST from the SimulAnalog project (www.simulanalog.org) for the guitar sound.
Let me know if you are interested in the setting, altough it's a simple clean jazzy sound.
Enjoy!
