FULL SONG LESSON. Great classic song by Kansas
Tags : Kansas, Dust in the wind

Hello everyone, it is a great day for as I´m being able to get you my humble cover of this great classic song, on of my favourite when I was a child.

The guitar part of this piece has a continue arpeggio going over chords on the first position of the guitar. The placement and order for the finger-picking hand should be memorized first, if you do it, you can play the song only looking at the diagrams with no animation of any kind needed.

Notation:
P=thumb
i=index finger
m=middle finger
a=ring finger

For all chords:
We place the thumb on 5th string (bass), index on 4th string, middle finger on 3rd string, and ring finger on 2nd string.
With this right hand placement we play on each chord:

    a i m   a i m
    p     p

As you see we have 2 groups of  4 notes beginning with the thumb. The first note on the first group has a longer value and the remaining notes has equal but shorter value.
So....
      short-short-      short-short-short
Long               short.

For recording 2 mics has been used and some plug-ins have been added. You can see the settings on the PDF.

The original song has an acoustic guitar (adds definition on the pitches) and a 12 string acoustic guitar playing the same (ads ornamentation plus smoothness through cancellation).
