  • Hi GMC'ers! Today we will cover cool metal riffing in the style of the mighty, Lamb of God! Lamb of God style riffs combine cool melodic and rhythmic patterns to create some unique riffs. This lesson will give you an idea on how to combine different scales and rhythmical durations in order to create these riffs on your own.

    Scales:
    * E Minor Pentatonic
    * E Phrygian-Mixolydian
    * E Minor

    Tuning:
    * Standard E
    * Feel free to use Eb or D

    Equipment:
    * Peavey ReValver MKIII Software Modeler
    * Peavey 6506+ Emulation.
