  • Hello GMC!

    I have done tons of Led Zeppelin style rhythmic songs, but i feel like now i could play something similar to what my hero Mr. Jimmy Page plays, of course is not even close to how he plays the guitar, but i think this lesson can get you started on the Jimmy Page style of playing.

    He's a very "simple" guitar player, on most of his greatest solos he just played the pentatonic/blues scale, so we are going to do the same here.

    Tuning:
    *Standard
    * E - A - D - G - B - E
    (From thick to thin)

    Techniques:
    * Riffing

    Equipment:
    * Vintage Fender Stratocaster (American Standard) with Dimarzio chopper on the bridge, vintage ibanez on the mid and a vintage fender stock on the neck.
    * Art Tube Pre Amp
    * Overloud TH2
    * Logic Pro

    We are going to play using the mighty E Blues scale:

    E PENTATONIC MINOR SCALE
