Welcome to my new lesson in the style of Luca Turilli!

"Luca Turilli (born 5 March 1972) is an Italian musician (primarily a guitarist) and songwriter. He is one of the founders of the symphonic power metal band Rhapsody of Fire." - Wikipedia

Luca's playing is influenced by classical music and movie soundtracks. His compositions are full of epic, bombastic chord progressions, synths and fantasy elements. His lead guitar style is very reminiscent of 80's neo classical guitar playing. Lots of pedal tones, sweep picked arpeggios and alternate picking runs.

This lesson will work on:

-Alternate picking
-Sweep picking
-Hammer-ons, pull-offs
-Hand Co-ordination

This lesson will get your brain working on overdrive as you try to link those sweep sequences together and maintain timing discipline, cleanliness of technique and trying to hit the right notes! Enjoy!
