  • Hi GMC'ers! Today we take a look at Metalcore in the style of Trivium. Metalcore is a combination of Metal (Death, Thrash, Technical, Heavy) and Hardcore (Melodic, Hardcore, Punk). We'll be covering some Metalcore bands and illustrate their differences.

    In this case, we are working on a tune in the style of Trivium. The lesson's in the key of A minor with a few exceptions. This band has been influenced by the 90's Thrash, Alternative, and Modern Death Metal. In my opinion, they are also influenced by heavy/classic metal.

    Tempo:
    200 bpm

    Scales:
    A minor

    Tuning:
    * Eb - Ab - Db - Gb - Bb - Eb
      (From thick to thin string)
    * Down 1/2 step

    Equipment: POD xt

    If you have any problems let me know.

    Stay close!/ Lian
