Hey GMC'ers!  Let's take a look at the great metal solos in "Battery" by Metallica. This is off of their album "Master of puppets".

Kirk Hammett was actually on of the first guitarist that I thoroughly admired. His creativity and feeling really blend in well with Metallica's music in my opinion. 

Techniques/ Trademarks:
* Pull-offs (to open strings)
* Wah Pedal Use
* Random Chromatic Passages
* Melodic Lines

Scales:
* Be Aeolian Mode
* E Pentatonic Minor
