Hi GMC-ers! In this lesson I'd like to demonstrate some ideas of how we can create a classical style solo using arpeggios in the harmonic minor scale.
The basic building block is the A minor arpeggio combined with the A harmonic minor.
Progression:
* The beginning is an A minor arpeggio.
* Then G major at the 10th fret.
* Then A minor at the 8th.
* F major at the 5th.
* Slid Ab diminished arpeggio in the 3rd position.
* A harmonic minor at the 12th.
In the second part I only used A harmonic minor in two positions.
Techniques:
* Sweeping
* Alternate Picking
* Slides
* Pull-offs
* Hammer-ons
If you have any questions:
* Give feedback (upper-right-corner)
* My Personal Board
* General Forum
Good practicing!/ Laszlo
