fkalich24th June 2010You really play nice, I have felt that way since you arrived at GMC. I see a new lesson, and figure it will be as much a nice well played tune as a lesson. To quote Martha Stewart...."and that is a good thing".

On the tablature...what does "L" stand for?

HI GMC!
Everyone knows that Oasis is a band inspired on The Beatles.
This lesson is also inspired on The Beatles, one of my favorite bands. But the solo is not completely vintage, it´s not a reflection of George Harrison´s style. It´s got a lot of modern resources that are the “oasis tone”.
This lesson is in C major. It´s got many double stops, very close to the base. The hard part is the one of the legatos, but it is quite simple.
You must sound beat!
Listen to the second version of “Let it be”, the solo of Harrison is awesome! And this lesson is inspired on this performing.
Peace!!
