Dear GMC-ers,
Since I am a huge Pantera fan, this is a great honor and oppurtunity to share with You one of the greatest/well-known classic of PanterA, I’m broken. I tuned my guitar to standard C#. The lead of this masterpiece is not an easy one even though that it doesn’t contains any super fast licks. To play anything from Dimebag is ALWAYS a hell of a challenge because of the bluesy vibe, huge bendings and his amazingly uniqe techniqes. He used to record most of his leads twice which gave a really cool chorus kind of vibe for his solos. The other good thing about this lead is that You can learn some cool blues licks that You can build in Your own guitar playing.
Dudes, LET’S KICK IT!:)
I hope You enjoy it!
Techniques/scales used:
Alternate pickings
Legatos
Hammer-ons
Pull-offs
Pinch harmonics
Huge, sometimes 2 note bendings
As Dime said „Texas” Vibratos
Cheerio,
Attila
