Kristofer Dahl31st August 2009Wow what an exercise - absolutely love it Sinisa!
Pinkys never behave the way you want them to - I am annoyed as well!
fkalich31st August 2009I like it because it is physical, don't have to use my brain much. Most of the lessons strain my brain, it needs a break once in awhile.
Bondy31st August 2009This is a great exercise nice one ![]()

What did you use for the choirs??? They sound great!
Canis31st August 2009Great lesson
My pinky needs disipline!
Allthough, I think there might be a little mistake in the tablature on the third bar in video 4. You keep ascending in the video, but the tab shows 0-7-10-0-7-10, if that makes any sense =)
Canis31st August 2009Edit: Never mind. The tabs seems to match fine with the main video ^^
Sinisa Cekic31st August 2009i,m glad you like it mates ![]()

These exercises are guaranteed to pump up your little finger and get it in shape.
Hi GMC and welcome to my lesson on pinky exercise !
-I have always found that my pinkie is weaker than my other fingers !
-I'm really annoyed with my pinky finger because it's REALLY slow and glitchy !
These are statements that I hear very often from young guitarists,
beginners and even those of advanced players!
Many beginners choose to use other fingers in situations that call for the pinky to be used. So let's try with some exercise to pump up your little finger and get it in shape!
This is not a simple exercise for your pinky!
In this song I've included more elements- melody with triplet arpeggios, so pay atention
on metrics and chord line, and to be a more interesting - use only your index and pinky fingers!
This mini song is played on a B string only, so right hand is in action just to trigger the first note of the melody.
It might not be the prettiest looking exercise but if you play them you will get better.
It is a very useful stuff for building pinky strength. Use it often.
Here it is :
4/4,130bpm
Chord progression-Em,B,Bm ,A,G6
GP file, tabs and backing tracks are included, so let's start practicing :)
