Hi GMC'ers! For this lesson I've cooked up a pop/rock solo for beginners (or even more advanced players) wishing to learn or improve their soloing skills.
The most important thing is to "work" on every note: try your best to make them sound as good as possible. Pay attention to the timing and to the proper use of dynamics with your picking hand.
If you look closely at the diagrams below, you will notice that inside the position of the minor scale we find the minor pentatonic scale... So it's quite easy to learn and visualize these two scales together.
Techniques:
* Bends
* Vibrato
* Hammer-ons
* Slides
* Timing
Key:
A Minor (Or C Major : The Relative Major Key)
Chord Progression:
C - G - Am - F
Scales:
* A Minor Pentatonic
* A Minor
If you have any questions:
* Give feedback (upper-right-corner)
* My Personal Board
* General Forum
Good luck & have fun!/ Stephane
