Hello my friends, and welcome to my new lesson. This time we are doing one very cool, very simple, and very requested song - "Under The Bridge" by RHCP.
This song tells about Anthony's drug addiction experience, and was released in 1992 on their studio album "Blood Sugar Sex Magic", which allowed RHCP band to enter mainstream.
Song is fairly simple one, intro being the only part that is a bit harder to play, cause it requiers barreing the 2nd fret in order to get the two chords for the intro (D major and F# major).
Here, I will give you a song concept, and the videos where the parts are covered:
- INTRO (video 1)
- VERSE 1 (video 2)
- VERSE 2 (video 3)
- CHORUS 1 (video 4)
- VERSE 3 (video 3)
- CHORUS 2 (video 4)
- EPIC CHORUS (video 5, first part)
- BREAK (video 5, second part)
- EPIC CHORUS OUTRO VARIATION (video 6)
I will explain every part in slow videos in the text. Tempo is fixed at 75bpm, although in the real song, intro is a bit slower than the rest of the song, and tempo is increasing gradually until the end.
Have fun with this song! :)
