Hi guys, thanks a lot for your comments & glad you liked the lesson!
yeah, great work! sounds very bluesy!
Yeah, must agree to all above. Very nice lesson, You captured Robbens "flowing" phrasing very well. This is actually how he plays. (been a fan for years...)
Robben Ford has captured a lot of my playing and listening time over the last couple of months. This is very well played and the phrasing is spot on. Thanks for the lesson man!
why, when I quit gmc, all these new great blues lessons come?
hi Stephane, this is only my opinion but that is the PERFECT blues tone!! if i was going to play the blues i would want that exact tone! great job my friend.
Dude ur playing is so precise and I like how all ur videos have the guitar placed exactly horizontal 180 degree. It makes things easy to look at
I love the blues .. I think I am a blues man .. great work Stephane!

Great Robben-ness there Stephane!!!

Spot on Stephane - love your tone and phrases, Robben would be proud!
Hi GMC!
Time for some blues licks in the style of Robben Ford.
Maybe one of my favorite modern blues players, Robben Ford has got a
"perfect" guitar technique, very tasty and immediately recognizable phrasing.
Today we gonna focus on the "basic" tools he used to play over a 12 bars blues :
the minor & major pentatonic scales / minor add 6th pentatonic scale and how to combine
these scales to approach his unique phrasing.
This blues is a classic 12 bars blues progression in the key of G and tempo is 126bpm.
Have fun!
Stephane
