playaxeman29th October 2010Another great lesson Cool riffing man.
playaxeman29th October 2010Hello Zolt what setup did you use for this one
Zsolt Galambos31st October 2010I used Guitar Rig 4 for this one. There are 2 guitars recorded here, one is less hearable, does some basic chords and on some places plays the exact thing an octave higher. For the effect I used Marshall JCM 800+Screamer dist with some EQ and stuff. I you wish, I can send you the preset.
Ivan Milenkovic1st November 2010Great licks, they sound awesome! ![]()
Zsolt Galambos4th November 2010Thank you, Ivane ![]()

Hey GMC'ers! In this lesson I'll be covering some rock riffs by Saul Hudson, better known as, Slash. He's most noted for his work with Guns 'N Roses, Slash's Snakepit, and Velvet Revolver.
The lesson is in the key of G. Pay close attention to the bluesy bends.
If you have any questions:
* Give feedback (upper-right-corner)
* My Personal Board
* General Forum
Techniques:
* Bluesy Bending
* Sliding
* Hammer-ons
* Pull-offs
Tuning:
* D - G - C - F - A - D
(From thick to thin string)
* Down 1/2 step
Enjoy!/ Zsolt
