Hello GMC!
Welcome to a lesson on odd time signature soloing!
This time we’re doing a solo over a 5/8 backing track. Check out the way phrases are constructed in this case and how you can use your techniques to create a musical passage over any type of time signature.
I’m using mostly a Em scale with some occasional accidentals (sharps, flats) here and there. The backing track can be used to improvise easily using this scale.
Let me us know of questions and comments!
Daniel
