  • Hi GMC-ers!

This is the second part of the "style variations" lesson. In this lesson you will learn a bluesy solo to the same backing track. Now we won’t use the whole G minor as in the previous part, but only the G pentatonic scale in different modes with more bends .

This lesson also starts at the third fret in a G pentatonic, only at the end of the first part I play the second mode .

The second part already starts in the third mode and this is combined with the fourth mode and the full G minor at the tenth fret. The last theme however is a G minor arpeggio henceforward at the same place.

The chord progression as in the first part:

Cm Dm Gm Gm Cm Dm Gm Gm Cm Dm Gm Gm Cm Dm Ebmaj7 Ebmaj7

    Techniques used in this lesson:

    -slides

    -bends

    -hammer on

    -pul off

    -arpeggio

    Good practicing!

    -Laszlo
