  • Hello everyone, today I'm very happy for being able to bring you an all-time finger-picking favourite: Black Bird by The Beatles.
It uses very simple chords and a 2 finger-picking formulas that always has the thumb playing on the beat.
The only tricky part is the structure, even though it is A-B, there are different but similar bridges and endings, so the explanatory vids will cover almost the totality of the song.

    Structure:
    Intro: (3 measures)*
    Verse: (14 measures)
    Bridge: (4 measures)
    Verse: (14 measures)
    Chorus: (9 measures)
    "Solo"*: (14 measures)
    Intro variation: Repetitions ad-libitum.
    Bridge: 4 measures)
    Verse+ending: (14+8 measures)

*There are time signature changes from 3/4 to 2/4.

    Hope you like it!
