It appears that you put a lot of work into the background music for your lessons. I like that most of all. Very creative. What do you think of first when you write your songs? Do you think of a riff first, chord, scale? How do you start? ![]()

Hello friends! Today we will by popular demand I present you “The tasty etude”. I received many requests asking for lessons that are less advanced and perfectly melodic and all that is related to tasteful playing. For all the Hard Rock fans I recommend that you check out this lesson because you'll find many things of this style here.
A person can discern between those guitarists that have taste and a good sense for melody and those who seem to be connected via a MIDI on the computer. This is the work we will be doing today, to be a little more human.
In this lesson I use a sound with little gain (Preamp simulator Roland JC-120 and a little natural gain of EQ with body) good compressor, quite a bit of delay and reverb and a speaker simulation of 2x12 with 421 dynamic mic.
Chords used:
Intro : C –F –C –F –G
Verse : C –G –Am - G – F (x2)
Chorus :
Dm – Em - F - G - Am – G - F-
Am –G –Am/F# - F
Final
F –C –Dm –G – F
Techniques:
Legato
Palm muting
Alternate picking
Bending
Vibrato
Slide
Scales used:
C Major scale + blue note
Now friends, to work.
