Hi everybody!
This time I’ve prepared for you, a lesson focused on Warming up.
I always use this kind of exercises for warming up, before a gig, before recording, even before of my practice routine.
I use this 3 shapes, you can find them in most of scales, and what I do, is to practice them in a chromatic way. So, I forget about the scale for now, and just play every shape along the fretboard and playing it in all strings.
I suggest you to play the whole exercise in a tempo you feel comfortable with.
and after a couple of runs try to increase the speed until another "safe point".
and remember: here it doesn't matter how fast you can play it but how tight and clear you can play it.
here I slide from fret #1 to fret #5 and so on, just to make it shorter. You can play the whole chromatic way from fret #1 to wherever you want.
All the exercise is played with Alternate Picking, keep an eye on that too.
I hope you like this lesson!
Tempo: 180 bpm.
