Nice acoustic pop licks & riffs that are suitable for both acoustic and electric guitar. Spice up your chordal skills with these riffs, to create a more richer rhythmic chops.

Hey GMC, welcome a new lesson from me where we will do some nice acoustic pop style licks and riffs! :)

The concept of this lesson is to use basic chord shapes within E major key and create small melodies while fretting the shapes, using the remaining available fingers.

If the parts seem a bit difficult to understand at first, I suggest printing out E major scale on a sheet of paper, and checking it while you play the chords. This should give you a pretty good idea on what to press and where (if you are not familiar with scale notes/patterns).

Have fun with this lesson! :)
