You did great, the composition rocks, the riffing rocks, the three extra Lians rock and it reminded me of Among The Living (one of my favorite Anthrax songs)..
Will there be more Anthrax Rythm Lessons in the future?

Karl-ss1st May 2009AWESOME! Tho i am having some problems with the solo's aperigo or however you spell it, is there any special way to learning those?
Karl-ss1st May 2009MAN! I LOVE Jamming along to this, even tho i cant play the solo who gives a crap!?!?! Soloing over it in a more tapping and legato way is just as fun!
Karl-ss1st May 2009By the way, the intro is in E Minor Right? Cause when i always check guitar pro it says something else... it matches A Harmonic Minor For example? So is it some moving outside of the box?

Hi everybody, welcome to a new lesson. This time we´ll see a lesson exclusively based on Anthrax.
In this tutorial, we´ll learn some of their trademarks as well as some basic heavy/thrash guitar rhythms.
This lesson is not only useful for Anthrax fans, so, you´ll find a lot of things you can add to your own vocabulary in times of composition, or into your routine of practice.
Basically, I tried to create a song, with intro, riffes, verses, chorus and solos, like Anthrax. I think, members who learn the whole lesson, will feel what´s to play a complete song on the stage.
Pay attention on timing and try to develop your own personility and your own "touch".
This part wont be the unique lesson from this tutorial, so you can add some songs you like from this band in my board and I will work on your request.
Many thanks to the members who requested this tutorial: dreadred, audiopaal, zakkWylde, jer.
As I always say, take this lesson step by step and have fun!
Used scales: E minor, E locrian, A pentatonic minor
Meter: 4/4
Guitar Tune: Down 1/2 step
TEMPO: 170 bpm
As some of you know, I use a POD xt to rec all my lessons. In my board you´ll find my presets ;). On the other hand, here´re the settings for people who wants them..
Amp model: based on Marshall JCM-800
Drive 2
Bass 4.9
Middle 5
Treble 6.8
Presence 5
Small room Reverb:
Predelay 0%
Decay 42 %
Tone 50%
Mix 43%
Remember: Same settings in other gear will produce a different sound, but, as we´ve talked at the forum, this could be useful for some members, so enjoy!
If you have any problems let me know. Take care.
see you all around.
