inertia2nd January 2009Hey Ian, love this lesson bro it's awesome. I have a question about the last video. I can't really get the fingering down especially for the string skipping, I'm trying to follow on the video how you are doing it, but even the slow version you do is a bit too quick for me to see when you switch positions. Basically I can't figure out the fingerings once you hit the twelfth fret, ie which fingers you use for each note and when you switch to the 12th position and then 14th position. I hope this makes sense what I'm asking. Thanks

inertia2nd January 2009haha OK I'm totally dumb, I didn't realize the numbers underneath the tab indicate the fingerings, just ignore my last post, or have a laugh, either way, thanks again

Oh, and by the way, off-topic: How do I get my picture put under my name when commenting? I have a profile picture, but it doesn't come up, sorry for spoiling your lesson feedback.
Ian Bushell8th June 2009@ 29a - Thanks for the comment, let me know
@ Alexiaden93 - Let me know how it goes

Hi GMC,
This beginners etude focuses more on the alternate picking technique.
You'll learn some basic scale shapes and arpeggio's from the key of A major, as well as using passing tones to colour scales and arpeggio's.
Tuning is standard and the tempo is 100BPM.
Fingerings and theory are provided in the broken down licks. Check the guitar pro tab for picking directions.
Happy practicing
Ian
