Hi GMC! I´m here again! In this lesson we have a rock solo. Here you´ll find different guitarist influences as Paul Gilbert, Steve Vai and Joe Satriani.
The chods progression is:
//Am/ % / C G / F /Am/ % / C G / Dm//
//G / % / F / % / G / % / C Dm / F //
The tempo is quarted = 124
The techniques I use are:
-Legato
-Alternate picking
The solo is divided in two sections of eight bars each one. In the first section I play A Aeolian, and in the second section I play C Ionian. Learn by heart all the positions on the scale. Practice each section slowly and coordinated, and increase the velocity gradually.
