ZreD18th June 2009Hey Lian,
Loved your Riff there, a real ear catcher. In fact I like so much that I am going to play it for my music Examination, and i am sure they'll love It
BUT I need a advise from a experienced guitar player.
you see I properly will get nervious just before the exam, you sweaty hands and so on, You got any advise (Other than practise a lot XD), something that can make me more calm?
Hope you could help me, and again awesome playing..
//Kasper
ZreD18th June 2009*You Know sweaty hands and so on...![]()
Lian Gerbino19th June 2009thanks for the comment man! I´m honored! glad you find interesting and even lovely this lesson. best of luck on your Music Examination. ![]()
about sweaty hands, I think it´s not a big problem, I´m a "sweaty hands guy" too ^^.
if you get nervious just before the exam, try to focus on your piece and NOT over someone else thoughts. so, forget you are in a test, and work on your attitude. attitude is everything. practice a lot the piece many times a day, I mean, practice a few hours, clean your mind doing something different, and re-practice it, an so on.
so, in this way you´ll develop something (in spanish called) muscle memory.
well, if you need extra help, feel free to go to my on board!
Stay Close!
arpejoes21st December 2010Nice Lesson ! Thanx Lian

Hi everybody, and welcome to a new lesson.
This time we´ll be playing an easy tapping etude over some chords to create a rhythm guitar line using this awesome technique.
If you are not comfortable with tapping technique, in this lesson you´ll find and easy and melodic way to learn it step by step.
We have hammer-ons over our left hand and then the tapping note over our right hand.
In this lesson, you won´t need to know the pull-offs. So, we´ll pay attention to hammer-ons and tapping note. What it´s the easiest part from tapping technique XD
I hope you find interesting this lesson, and if you are needing any help, just ask for it :)
Take the lesson step by step and have fun.
Used scales: B minor
Meter: 4/4 –
Guitar Tune: Down 1/2 step
TEMPO: 120 bpm
As some of you know, I use a POD xt to rec all my lessons. you´ll find my presets on my board ;)
If you have any problems let me know.
Take care and see you all around.
Lian Gerbino
