  • We will be analyzing a “sound”. In particular the fusion of the Dorian scale with the Blues.

    We will use the Blues scale and the Dorian scale that form this particular harmony.
    Some, such as Santana, (example, Oye como va), Joe Satriani (Ex. Cool #9) use it at the moment of improvisation or composition.
    Let’s keep in mind the sound used for this base. We will apply a strong gain to obtain a good sustain then add a delay effect and reverberation.
