Hi GMC! Welcome to the sixth Exotic Scale of this series and to the second part of the Aeolian bb7 scale. Now we are going to explore the Aeolian bb7 scale. In this lesson we will see the application of the scale. I composed a solo so you can get ideas, patterns, arpeggios and different things to start approaching this new scale sound.
The techniques used in this lesson are:
- Tapping
- Legato
- Sweeping
- Sliding
- Artificial harmonics
I hope you have fun playing the solo and you can make one of your own. If you do please post it so we can discuss about.
I hope you enjoy the lesson!
Here is the chord progression: Cm7(b13)- Am7 (b5)- Dm7(b5) - Cm7- F7 (#9)- Abmaj (#11)- Am7 (b5)- Dm7(b5)- Gsus4- Abmaj7 (#11)- Am7 (b5)- Dm7(b5)- Cm7(b13)- Cm69/Eb.
